Are you always concerned about another person's health, especially ears? Do you want to help people by diagnosing their hearing impairments using instruments? If yes, you should consider to pursue your career as an audiologist.
Audiologists are technicians who can diagnose your hearing-related problems. The important thing to understand here is that they are very different from the ear doctors like ENT. An audiologist can only diagnose hearing problems using advance instruments but can’t perform medical ear surgeries. An audiologist’s main responsibility is to diagnose the patient’s root cause of the decline in the hearing ability or complete loss of it.
Example: A person suffering from hearing loss and balance disorders should visit an audiologist. But a person having swelling and internal injury to his ear should visit an ear physician.
